MINT SOFT PRODUCT REFRESH

Mint Suite with Charlie Bird breakfest
In 2014, Mint launched as JetBlue’s exciting take on premium travel offering inflight amenities from a host of curated partners. Six years later, the onboard amenities are getting a refresh to elevate a seamless living experience from the ground to air.

Kicking things off with our restaurant partner Charlie Bird (Delicious Hospitality Group), we refreshed the onboard menu and serviceware to reflect the SoHo location’s lively dining atmosphere. Charlie Bird’s commitment to great music inspires the printed food and drink menus. Vibrant, full bleed gradients and dominant, stacked type recall screen-printed show posters where the food is the main attraction presented by our inflight crewmembers. The drink menu is your ticket. The back of the menu sports a Spotify link to a Charlie Bird playlist.

The ceramics are modeled after the plates and bowls at Charlie Bird, featuring matte exterior finishes and an earthen color palette.

We developed bedding and sleep kit amenities in collaboration with Tuft & Needle to bring a more residential touch to our sleep experience. An extra-long, quilted blanket features a set of snaps at the end to create a “foot nook” and other creative ways to wear the blanket. Diagrammed on the bedding bag are fun suggestions for blanket use. The cloth case further reduces plastic waste onboard.

Wellness kits replace the onboard amenity kit, curated by travel-brand Wanderfuel. The bags themselves, crafted from thick washed paper, can be reused or recycled.
